medical dermatology “boot camp” for doctors who care for patients with
severe inflammatory dermatoses and skin diseases with systemic
consequences.

This new course, organised by the British Society of Medical Dermatology, is suitable for dermatology trainees and others who wish to refresh their knowledge of medical dermatology. The first day is dedicated mainly to severe inflammatory skin diseases and the second to the cutaneous manifestations of systemic diseases. The programme includes short presentations by experts in the field, discussions and case-based workshops. You will be able to “Test the Faculty” with your own challenging cases and to evaluate your learning through pre- and post-course quizzes.
After attending the course, you should be able to:
1 Manage patients with skin conditions that have substantial systemic consequences
2 Quantify the impact and extent of inflammatory skin diseases
3 Use systemic drugs safely in patients with severe skin diseases
